Direct Download Help
BookShelf supports directly downloading some types of books from websites. Only PalmOS type files are supported.
If you've been sent to this page from BookShelf, chances are you tried to download an unsupported PalmOS file. All of the various types of PalmOS files all have the same file extension: ".pdb". That one file extension can contain any kind of data. Not only e-book files, but address books, todo lists, literally any type of data which can exist on a PalmOS-based device is always found inside a *.pdb file. BookShelf supports some, but not all of the PalmOS e-book file types (see supported formats for details).
The file you tried to download was indeed a PDB file, but since it isn't one of the BookShelf supported types, it can't be downloaded or read by BookShelf at this time.
